ADULT 101: THINGS NO ONE PREPARED YOU FOR

As freeing and fun as being an adult can be it sometimes comes with a lot of baggage, anxiety, failure, disappointment especially the ones no one prepared you for.

1. YOU "FAKE IT TILL YOU MAKE IT"

I am sure many of us has heard of this phrase, as an adult in other to succeed you have to put on a brave face, optimistic mind, imitate confidence and sometimes kiss ass which majority of the time is killing you deep inside.

2. YOUR BODY FALLS APART

Say hello to wrinkles and fine lines, really bad acne, very painful period and so on. As an adult you get to the position where you have to do your medical check up regularly and limit your junk food intake because your body just can't contain them anymore.

3. STANDING UP FOR YOURSELF

As a child, it is the duty of your parents to fight your battles but as an adult, that aint happening. You have to learn to speak up and stand your ground because no one will d that for you anymore.

4. UNEMPLOYMENT

There is nothing as terrible sitting in the house all day with nothing to do and also having no reliable source of income. My people getting a job is harrd, at times you can have all the qualifications the company needs, still.... Then anxiety kicks in, sometimes your parents and family members judge you and it all drives you crazy.

5. YOU FIX YOUR HOME REPAIRS BY YOURSELF

I know it is always easy to call a repair man/woman but what about emergencies.... As adult you have to learn to fix those things yourself, like your semi-faulty car, broken fridge, bad light bulb e.t.c. The good part is you get to save money.
