It's the first day of the work week, which means we are extra determined to achieve some success before or by the end of the week #amiright Speaking of achievement, let's talk about Goal Setting. The easing of the lockdown has commenced (in some countries) and we are feeling the urge to do things with our lives again. Well here are some helpful tips accomplish setting goals. High Motivation It will be impossible to set goals that have low values and importance to you. Motivation usually comes with a sense of urgency and 'I cannot wait' attitude, without the impulse, you'll be setting yourself up for frustration and disappointment.

Happy Sunday, beautiful people. It is the first Sunday in the new month and I just thought I'll post this in the attitude of gratitude.

W here do I even begin.. When the lockdown was announced on the 13th of March, hmm I am not even going to lie to you, I was excited. The truth was that I needed a break professionally, emotionally and socially and it seemed like it was given to me on a platter of gold. I was so elated, I thought with this quarantine, I will make myself happy and achieve some fantasised goals; I planned on really focusing on my blog Taking new classes online Re-starting my YouTube channel Sleeping more Worrying less

I think we can all agree that 2020 so far, has been mind blowing (not in a good way). It's been mentally and emotionally frustrating but *Still we rise*. But it is also good to know that the covid situation is gradually being contained at least in most countries, and people are now permitted to travel across countries again. PS: This doesn't mean it's over, so please continue to adhere to the safety rules and always put on a face mask. That being said, if you are still holed up in the house with nothing to wear like me but cannot wait to go shopping again then this post is for you. 1.     Welcome to the month of July, I pray it is way better than June and that it give us a new reason to be happy. That being said, please be careful out there, the coronavirus is still very much around and active, ignore bearers of false news and take your safety very seriously 💜. I don't know about you, but I love it when it rains at night. I love the noise of the gusting wind, the nerve calming smell of the rain water when it touches the ground, the chilly but soothing air and the mellifluous sound that accompanies it. In this moment, like most people, all I want to do is snuggle under a blanket with a cup of hot cocoa, whilst watching a show on Netflix or listening to some mellow music on my phone.
