Aah, Lara Croft - the favorite to many. First the character appeared in a 1996 video game "Tomb Raider". Since then Croft has appeared many times both on computer screen as well as movie adaptations. The most popular portrayal of Lara is the one by Angelina Jolie in a 2001 movie "Lara Croft: Tomb Raider". Although recently Alicia Vikander took a shot at portraying Lara in a 2018 movie "Tomb Raider". Despite mixed reviews, Vikander's take on the character is worth watching.

2. Nathan Drake ("Uncharted" series)

"A capable treasure hunter with a knack for getting in over his head" says the Uncharted wiki. It's true, Nathan Drake (voiced by Nolan North) is often described as a modern-day, younger Indiana Jones. Nate is a main protagonist in a series of video games "Uncharted". Together with his business partner and a father-figure Victor Sullivan (voiced by Richard McGonagle) they embark on countless of dangerous adventures always on a hunt for big treasures (El Dorado, Shambala, Iram of the Pillars or Henry Avery's treasure) with bad guys right behind them.
